preparation for curving wax

The wax block, it looks like 90 degree corner and plane face.

Check it with steel square, corner is not 90 degree and face is not plane.
Now I need to make 12x12x55mm block.
Corners must be vertical and face must be horizontal.

First of all, making a plane face.

P1050141.jpg
And making an another face on the other side.

P1050142.jpg
Now there are parallel two faces.
Check it with caliper. If don't see any space between caliper and face like this photo, the faces is certainly parallel.

Next, making 90 degree corner with steel square.
You see space between block and steel. It needs to file to adjust.

This is 12x12x55mm blocks.
It is ready to curve.

当然、ここまでの作業を正確にやってないと、これからやる作業も正確に行えません。
どんだけ正確にケガくかということです。
